Evaluation Question 2
*NOTE* Presentation below contains a voice over audio file which will start after the first scene of the presentation. If you cannot hear if for any reason then a transcript is included at the bottom of this post.
- The voice over is in the background and therefore it is not required for you to follow the presentation the way I have patched it. You may use your mouse wheel to zoom out and into elements freely as I explain/describe them through the voice over.

Throughout my products, I wanted to showcase my band as very
dark and intense as this is a traditional convention in which heavy metal has
been associated to. I wanted to make the customer feel special when viewing any
of the products such as the digipak. I executed this by using the special
edition metal frame around the digipak, the magazine by having it very graphicy
and busy, and finally the music video itself which I wanted to showcase as a
professional piece to be shown on channels such as MTV.
I wanted to make the products first impressions to the
customer as something not so surprising, regarding conventions as I wanted the
customers to straight know what they were viewing which was a heavy metal
product and I executed this by using a very dark colour scheme and very intense
conventional heavy metal fonts.
I wanted to associate my band with the audience and did this
by giving my video a live feel to it. This was adapted from bands such as Memphis
may fire and parkway drive who showcase mostly performance which keeps the
video at high excitement for this target audience.
I adapted what our last night did with the two shots of the
performers. I used this idea throughout my digipak, magazine advert and some of
the music video shots.
