Music videos are edited in a way were they have more freedom with editing tecniques such as colour and CGI. This is because music videos do not really have to make sense and can for example have just a simple man running. We would not see this in other media products such as films. This is because films usually have to have editing related to the film itself whereas, music videos have the freedom and choice to be creative and expermient with editing tecniques.
Furthermore, because music videos are pre-recorded in a studio with high quality recordings, they require the actor to lip sync if the recordings include lyrics. Therefore, when editing later on, the editor has to be carefull of the clip positioning and match the audio with the recording.
